A mega menu is a complex menu that includes multiple levels of pages and attempts to include an entire large site’s main content in one accessible menu.

On the desktop version of Quinnipiac University’s website, a modal window is used for the mega menu. Users can close the modal navigation by clicking on the X on the top right or clicking the webpage behind the modal. Alternatively, clicking on any of the modal’s links will direct you to a new page that does not have an active navigation modal window open. Clicking on another main navigation item, such as Admissions, Tuition & Aid, Student Life, About, or Support QU, opens that nav’s modal pop-up on the same page where you are currently.
